LEADING
DAYTIME & SUNSET PROGRAMS
There are two different ways for the public to experience Leading: a sunset program and a closed-dome program.

The sunset program, which begins shortly before sunset, lasts approximately 40 minutes for up to 22 viewers at a time. The closed-dome program runs approximately 25 minutes.

Public access is available each month that Friends Seminary is in session. Admission is free, and reservations must be made via Eventbrite. Please note that seating/reservations are limited as each show has a capacity of 22 attendees.
PARTNERING WITH LOCAL SCHOOLS
As Leading is a gift to Friends, it is also a gift to the city that surrounds it. The School is dedicated to establishing partnerships with other local schools and arts organizations with the purpose of sharing this rare installation with the greater educational community and developing cross-disciplinary programming.

Please check back in December 2025 for winter/spring 2026 dates.
On the day of your ticketed show, please arrive at 218 East 16th Street at least 5 minutes prior to showtime with a current photo ID.

Each guest must RSVP ahead of time. The School will not accept walk-ins or individual reservations.
We recommend against bringing children under the age of 3.
